I have always wanted to catch the sunrise while walking across the brooklyn bridge. I woke up at 4:30 AM, took the metro downtown and reached the Chambers street station. The moment i left it and took a look around and saw that the sky was already turning blue. I quickly took a photo of one world trade center wondering if there are actually people working in those offices or do they just leave the lights on for aesthetic purposes? thankfully, i ran and made it in time to the bridge and was able to walk across it as the sun was rising. the cool breeze over the east river and warm winter sun over a vista dominated by the bridge was a memory to savor.
